On new projects we like to be involved at as early a stage as possible. The sooner we are involved, the more likely that we can use our machining expertise to help design engineers to design components in an optimum way for manufacture. This has the advantage of reducing component costs and increasing the reliability of production quality (particularly when it comes to volume manufacture).

With the acquisition of Catia V5 we have moved to a level of Project support demanded by our Customers, but rarely achieved by precision engineering companies.

Ideally we like to see drawings at preliminary issue, before further integration work takes place. That way any suggestions we make can be incorporated at the earliest possible stage, thereby avoiding the need for adjustments to other components.
