UTP are constantly investing in new equipment to maintain our position at the cutting edge of precision engineering in the UK.

This ensures that we are able to continue to meet our customers’ stringent tolerance requirements in the most efficient ways possible. In turn this means that our customers are able to push the boundaries further and therefore deliver unique advantages for their own customers.

We also invest in software and we have invested further in our CATIA capability so that we can receive drawings in CATIA 5.

Quality Assurance
Our CNC co-ordinate measuring equipment enables us to check components in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional methods. We can even run an inspection routine checking up to 900 dimensions overnight. Detailed reports can be available the following morning. This reduces lead times and provides a guarantee of conformance to tolerance.
